I’ve been thinking a lot, lately – about how this blogging/creativity thing works (or doesn’t) and I started to really consider whose words I read…. really read, and really take to heart. And since I’ve recently “recombined” (is that a word?), my two sites – I thought I’d share with you, some of my favorite women who blog about business and creativity, and even some “woo”. So, in no particular order, here they are.
Business and Creative Blogs I Love!
Kris Oster – is a woman I came across in more than a few online forums. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her directly and I’m proud to now call her a friend. She’s an awesome blend of marketing/alchemy/archetype/drumming/mermaid and she’s way cool! Check her out. I know you’ll love her.
Danielle LaPorte – Truthbombs, Firestarter Sessions, Desire Map – “Core Desired Feelings” was a revelation for me. I love her book Desire Map and I work with still.
Christine Tremoulet – I got to “know” Christine, a million years ago, when blogging was this new thing and we posted about a hundred times a day. I’ve watched her do these incredible things – with photography, with business, with blogging, with life, and I’m constantly amazed! Her newest venture The Life Boss is sure to be a ride!
Beth Ramsay “Not Afraid to Say It”, is her tagline and that’s the truth! Beth is a terrific blend of no nonsense business and team builder extraordinaire! (Full disclosure, I designed her website!)
Natalie Kent – What can I say about this incredibly generous, creative, beautiful woman? I purchased one of her programs well over a year ago and loved it (Natural Cycle Planner). More recently, I replied to a question she posed in her newsletter and her personal response and loveliness has made me an even bigger fan!
Leonie Dawson – I’ve been following Leonie for a very long time now and I just love her energy. Her honesty about her struggles as well as her victories is so refreshing!
SARK – I remember the first time I ever saw the book, “Juicy Pens Thirsty Paper” on a book shelf at Barnes and Noble – I was enthralled! Following her for so many years, I’m constantly amazed by her humor and creativity!
Julia Cameron – The Artist’s Way – really, is the most important book I’ve ever read about creativity – I’ve done the course many, many, many times, and I’ve taught it a time or two, as well. The Artist’s Date changed my life and I completely recommend checking her out.
Elizabeth Gilbert – Eat, Pray, Love. That book. Come on, you know how much you loved it – and when she started to talk about creativity and life, I was even more hooked!
