Trying something new today…. A flash reading on the website.
I’m using the Sun and Moon Tarot by Vanessa Decort, published by US Games Systems, Inc.
I really love this deck. it’s so unique. The art is beautiful and sweet, and I love the Hebrew characters on the Majors.
My question today, was “What do we need to know to move forward in our endeavors in the best way possible?”
The first card, “the empress”represents Goddess energy, fertility, creativity, service, abundance – This tells me that we’re to honor our creativity, release it (give birth) to the world and in a very real way, look into how our offerings can be of the highest service. What are you doing to release your creativity and have it serve the world? Are there shifts you can make to bring it more into alignment?
The crystal globe allows us to examine the inner and external worlds and see how to bring them into balance. The Hebrew character Dalet is the symbol of a door and represents passage. Passage into the next step, possibly?
The second card, the two of swords, has the word “peace” – and calls to mind repose, meditation. The closed yoga pose shows an avoidance of communication – are there places where you need to let the information in, especially if it’s something you may not want to hear? Can the empress of the first card be trying to show you where you need to make those changes talked about and might you be resisting them? You can make a balanced choice between two contradictory possibilities. by going within and listening to the guidance.
Open up to the communication you’re receiving – don’t take it personally – just look at it and see where you might be resisting. What you resist, persists, right?
The third card, the ace of swords, shows a shining crown on top of sword. It represents clear thoughts and creative thinking. The moon on the handle of the swords is the same moon that our empress is sitting on. Moons are receptive energy. Again, receive what’s coming to you. If you open up like we discussed in the two of swords, you’ll get the sudden insight that you need. The wisdom is inside of you; always has been, always will be. Allow yourself to receive it, pay attention to external signs, stop resisting and allow the natural abundance to ease into your situation.
Personally – I have a situation that I was allowing my ego to convince me that I wasn’t good enough… This reading shows me that if I show up and do my best to be of service, I’m completely aligned with the Universe and ready for anything.
The mantra is, “How May I Serve?”.
